well thats my point, their whole reason for being is to eat human flesh, they don't get full and eat even if they don't have a stomach. so shouldn't they just gorge themselves on anybody they get until there is nothing left but bones?

That's an interesting point.

There can be slow eaters, maybe? And the corpse reanimates before they can finish it or do damage that would cause immobility?

If it's anything, in the Zombie Survival Guide, it says that they'll continue eating even after their stomach has exploded.

slow eatter thing i can see, and i remember the stomach thing from day of the dead when the crazy doctor guy took the stomach out of one of them and it was still trying to eat everything
